The PLC committees are of two kinds, the Standing Committee, and Ad hoc Committee. The Ad hoc committees are appointed for specific purpose and they cease to exist as soon as they finish their tasks, while Standing Committees work goes on regular basis. The standing committees examine reports and proposals submitted by the Speaker or the council.
