Parliamentary Blocs:
Parliamentary blocs and political parties are formed to provide different political visions and points of views of different political affiliations in which PLC members can take prior attitude towards certain issues presented to the council.
In accordance with provisions 5.6.7 of the PLC standing order, PLC members have the right to join parliamentary blocs whenever they are 5% or more of the PLC total number of members, provided that the member doesn’t belong to more than one bloc. Blocs also have the right to prepare their own regulation (as mentioned in articles 18, 19, 20 of PLC members Rights and Duties Law No.10/2004.
